Events
ACPM organizes different types of activities for members and pension industry participants.
 
The ACPM National Conference, usually held in September in a Canadian city or resort setting. This 2 day Conference is a premium professional development and networking opportunity for plan sponsors, trustees, administrators, professionals and other service providers. The Conference is also attended by policy advisors, legislators and regulators. The ACPM conference attracts 350-400 participants. Plenary sessions deal with policy issues and operational issues. A feature of the ACPM Conference is the ACPM “Open Forum”, where members discuss the Association’s policy activities and priorities with the Board and Committee Chairs.
 
Regional Events, organized by the ACPM’s Regional Councils. The ACPM organizes events in regions where it has operating Regional Councils. These events focus on a particular topic of interest to the general ACPM membership or a specific section of the pension community. These topics usually have a public policy component, even when they are dealing with a technical subject. The Regional Councils also organize some networking activities, such as the annual Ontario Council golf tournament.
